Behind The Lens

Location

Killdeer Farm Stand in Norwich, VT.

Time

In the morning after breakfast before driving back to Boston.

Lighting

I shot it using the available light, electric and what was coming in from outside.

Equipment

I used my iPhone 5 holding it it as still as I could over the boxes.

Inspiration

I liked the red of the peppers and the shine on them, and their imperfect surfaces, with the contrast of the green stems and the 2 green peppers. I also liked the wavering washed-out green lines of the boxes as I looked down on them.

Editing

No post processing other than cropping the image a little.

In my camera bag

I take almost all of my photos with my iPhone 5. So I don't need a bag. :)

Feedback

Look for striking color, shape and texture combinations with lighting that sets them off well. Then try shots from different angles, finding surfaces to steady your arm or hand against. If I have fun shooting it often comes out in the images.
