Location
This photo was taken at my home studio in Mexico City.Time
I shot this photo around midday.Lighting
It was hard because I had so much light coming out of the window and I wanted to make the background really black so it would contrast the matches and the smoke. I used no flash, just the light coming to of the matches.Equipment
This was shot on Canon EOS REBEL T4i Aperture: f/2.8 ISO: 1600 Exposure: 1/80 Focal Length: 100/1 A Canon 100mm 2.8L macro lens and a tripod.Inspiration
i've always loved to shoot simple things with a different point of view to make them beautiful. For some reason, I have a thing going on with matches and droplets.Editing
Just made the contrast a bit harder. In my camera bag
I have a Canon 7D, my two lenses: A Canon 100mm 2.8L and a Canon 24-70mm 2.8L and my flash.Feedback
Have a lot of patience and try a zillion times, Shooting fire is always a pleasure and you can spend hours just looking for that winner shot.
