Once upon a time I found myself in a place which looks like some picture from fairy-tale. This tunnel is not so many years old - only about 50, and it was planted by Soviet soldiers, who wanted to hide the constant movement of freight trains in this place. Now many couples constantly coming here, because this place looks very romantic. The tunnel is beautiful all the seasons, but I love it most in the spring, when young green leaves are filled with sunlight and new hopes.

Behind The Lens

Location
This photo I take in little village Clevan, Rivne district, Ukraine. On photo showed amazing Tunnel of Love, tree tunnel along railways.
Time
This is one from my most colorful images. I take shot in the little late, near 11 00 am, but light and shadows are still beautiful.
Lighting
Rays of light and shadows on this shot created wonderful, full of "spring feeling" picture. Leaves and light created something like green romantic lace.
Equipment
This was shot on my cam Nikon D7000 with kit objective 18 - 105 VR, nothing else.
Inspiration
I dreamed to visit this place, which looks like some picture from fairy-tale. It has interesting history - this tunnel is not so many years old, only about 50, and it was planted by Soviet soldiers, who wanted to hide the constant movement of freight trains in this place. Now many couples constantly coming here, because this place looks very romantic.The tunnel is beautiful all the seasons, but in the spring it looks like tribute to green color, when young leaves are filled with sunlight and new hopes.
Editing
As for me, I prefer to make just little improvement in Adobe Camera Raw, mostly work with curves.
In my camera bag
There is several things I always have in my backpack: my Nikon D7000 with objective Nikon 18-105 VR and my second objective - soviet Helios-44M-6.
Feedback
First of all, you should think about when go to shoot: season of the year, time of the day etc. There is many possibilities to make photo of the same place in different colors. Also, you should think about another tourist or photographers, who could visit this place in the same time. So the receipt is simple - just go early and make your best. Another advice is keep shooting in raw, because post-processing of forest photos will become for you much more easier and give much more possibilities for work with light and shadow.
