Location
This photo was taken at the Montréal World Trade Center in Montréal, Québec, Canada.Time
Around 3pm in the afternoon.Lighting
The lighting about this place is amazing, since it's an exterior construction but the alley is protected by a glass roof, we have plenty of light coming in !Equipment
I use my Nikon D610 with the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 HSM ART , no tripod and just being steady and straight ;)Inspiration
The fountain in front of this entrance is a mirror ! It's composed of marble and you can see the reflection clearly on the water surface !Editing
Very minimal processing, I just did a little bit on the lighting for it to be more clear and that's it. I love doing minimal processing on my pictures and to stay more natural looking. In my camera bag
I have two camera bodies, Nikon D610 and my backup, my good old Nikon D90. Have also a Nikon SB600 Flash with a Garry Fong that collapse. I have 3 lens , Sigma 50mm f/1.4 HSM ART , Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DG HSM and Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6 VR. Got a bunch of polarising filter and NDx , got even a variable NDX for my 18-50mm and finally a remote control and 2 tripod , a big one Sherpa 200 and a Gorilla Pod SLR Pro.Feedback
Take your time and wait for your perfect light, because flash wont help with this photo and do some test of positioning before taking the final one ;). Don't be afraid of getting on the ground also and when your angle is perfect... shoot ! Don't go with a burst shot, you don't need 100 photos of the same thing, take only 3 or 4 but be accurate and precise !
