Thors Well - Oregon Coast

It was a rising high tide with some decent size ocean swells coming in. There was a lot of water moving. I took precautions to protect myself and my gear, but boy, was this a challenging environment to shoot in! One eye on the swells coming in and one eye on the shot. When a big wave would come in all us photographers would have to brace our footing and lift our tripods up so our camera's were out of the spray zone. Of course our bodies were getting soaked. At least 3 other's cameras started malfunctioning and one other photographer got knocked over by a wave. I wonder how much equipment is damaged by this spot alone.

Depending on conditions this can be a risky place to shoot.

Among the chaos, I'm pretty stoked that I was able to grab at least 1 shot that I liked. Bracketed for dynamic range and blended in post.
