Behind The Lens

Location
It was in the Studio of my dear friend Bruno Birkhofer. We decided to do a shoot and Lena had time and wanted to shoot with us.
Time
It was at the afternoon, but I think it doesn't matter on a studio shot ^^
Lighting
We wanted to create an interesting look with medium contrasts and so we used a beautydish from above and a big reflector from the bottom, it was a clamshell setup.
Equipment
We used a Nikon D800e with the 85mm from Sigma at f/4.0 and a large beautydish on a lightstand. To lighten up the shadows a bit we used a Sun-Bouncer Pro with silver side up.
Inspiration
was just a test shot in the studio but afterwards, I wished I had a red shiny apple ;) haha
Editing
nothing special, frequency separation, minor color adjustments and a bit dodge and burn - not to much.
In my camera bag
A full frame camera and 3 lenses - 35mm, 50mm, 85mm
Feedback
take a nice model, a beautydish a black background and a reflector, thats it. Keep it simple guys!
