Was totally cloudy when I drove out and set up on the other side of the lake, to the point that we waited for over half hour and packed up and headed home. As we were nearing home, we saw that the cloud cover had dissipated and that the moon was already up and over the mountain top, certainly not enough time to return to my original spot as planned. My 500 mm decided to give me problems so I had to use a smaller zoom. Nonetheless, stoked I was able to even get a shot of something that will not occur again until 2033.
