Elvis weighs 19 pounds, but is very timid. He's terrified of thunder, rain, storms. The only solace is for me to play the piano loudly and badly (the only way I know ). He either sits on the keys, taking up about a third of them, or snuggles up next to me on the stool. The vet says he's only 2-3 pounds overweight. The rest is just a BIG cat.

"Kitten on the Keys!" What are you playing? Love the black and green contrast. Glasses, lamp, phone, metronome. You're all set!

I set up the tripod and took advantage of ambient light with a slower shutter speed. The room has a lot of natural light.Equipment

Elvis, the cat, is terrified of storms and thunder. The only way to calm him down is for me to play the piano loudly (and badly). He either "helps" me play by sitting on the keys or snuggles up next to me on the stool. He'll stay calm as long as I play and often will stay in place when I get up. Incidentally, he's a 19 pound gentle giant. He's a couple of pounds overweight, but his weight is mainly because he's a huge cat, as you can see in the picture.Editing
I used Adobe Camera Raw (yes, that little Canon G15 shoots RAW) to convert it to a tiff and bring it into Photoshop. I used Perfect Effects for some depth and softening, and Topaz Denoise to take out some of the noise. In my camera bag
Everything I own. All my cameras and lenses and external flashes are Canon. I also have ND filters of all sizes for each lens, circular polarizing filters for each lens. Of course, I have the usual paraphanalia, like wireless and wired remote controls, cleaning materials. My tripod is usually with me.Feedback
I imagine everybody's pet has some idiosyncrasy. Keep a camera handy all the time.
