This photo was taken on a dirt road in Waterside, Prince Edward Island, CanadaTime
On the weekends, My wife, kids, and I often go for drives in the evening. Both the kids had fellen asleep in the back seat, and my wife was browsing facebook on her phone. When I came across this scene I deciede to pull over and take a few pictures. This was about 8:30pm on Sept 25th, 2015Lighting
There was nothing special about the lighting. It was just natural light. This was a few nights before the supermoon eclipse however, so I guess the lighting was moon litEquipment
This was shot on a Canon T5i with the 18-55mm kit lensInspiration
I often take pictures of night time scenes. I don't really look for anything in particular, I just like to come across things and snap awayEditing
I just used lightroom to modify this. I brought the temp up a bit, the shadows up quite a lot, everything else was pretty minorIn my camera bag
I have a very budget setup. Having 2 kids does not afford you a lot of play money for equipment, so my bag has ALL my equipment. I have a canon T5i, 18-55 kit lens, 55-250 kit lens, and the 50mm 1.8 stm. I have a Vanguard Alta +263AB100 tripod with a ball head that I keep in the back of my van pretty much at all times.Feedback
Take a drive out of town. Find some back country dirt roads, and keep your eyes pealed.
