The photo was taken at my late father-in-laws bungalow by natural light and an iPhone 6.Time
This was taken at 1pm GMT on a beautiful sunny day. There is a lot of natural light in the property I took this photo due to some large sliding glass doors.Lighting
I wanted very good daylight because that brings out the best in the iPhone 6's internal camera. I find that during high light situations this is a very respectable image producing device and hence to prove what quality of image can be acquired from modern phones.Equipment

My dog Kato has such a great character but is also very caring. The day I took this photo he was looking the most serious I have ever seen him and wanted to capture the moment.Editing

I do have an old Panasonic LUMIX and a couple of extra lenses but I find it just so easy to whip out my iPhone these days when there is a good source of natural light to support a good image capture.Feedback
When using phones the more natural light the better but it does help if there is glass between the light and your subject. I find this refines the light and calms it allowing a much more detailed and natural shot.
