In Serengeti National Park, Tanzania.

It was late morning.

Lighting

The light was a bit hard, but this bad boy was partly under the shade, so it was not too bad!

Equipment

A Canon 7D Mark II body with my trusted 500mm L series lens on a bean bag.

Inspiration

Well it is easy to be inspired by all those amazing animals you get to see in this amazing country.

Editing

In my camera bag

For this photo safari, I went all out with 3 Canon bodies (1DX, 5D mark III and 7 D mark II) and lenses covering 24 mm to 500mm. I could not miss anything!

Feedback

With wildlife, try to get as close as possible of eye level. It create a better connection with your subject. Not easy in a photo safari where you shoot from the truck... You can try the windows!
