I knew I wanted the lights of the bridge and yet have the people be blurry.Equipment
I used a Nikon Coolpix L830 no other equipment usedInspiration
I really wanted to get some downtown shots so I went to the blue bridge in Grand Rapids. The colors were beautiful and it was a good time to shoot with a few people on the bridge but not too many.Editing
The only post-processing that I did was to experiment with the black and white. In my camera bag
Batteries....lots and lots of batteries! Aside from that I just make sure I have my camera and extra memory cards.Feedback
When looking for bridge shots check your different angles and lighting. Be prepared for up and down banks though so wear comfortable shoes. Take a few dozen shots from each angle that intrigues you then make sure lighting (such as the sunset etc.) looks good not only to your eye but when you check your shots. You may see something that just doesn't seem to look right on your camera. Be persistent! You will get the shot you want!
