It has been a very hard summer for the local animals due to the blazing hot sun and high temperatures here. From late April to the end of August there was hardly any rain, This wild black rabbit was able to find a temporary reprieve from the sun under this old log. I did an overexposure of the surrounding vegetation to amplify the concept of a blazing sun.
