I was on vacation with family fossil hunting but wasn't having much luck. I of course brought my camera, as I knew id see some beautiful things to photograph. I happen to turn to try a new spot to dig, when i saw this monarch caterpillar walking from one flower to the next. I stopped what I was doing to walk into the woods and got this photo. Immediately after, I realized I walked threw poison ivy and had cut the rest of the day short. It was well worth it, as I'm glad I got to capture this amazing photo.
