Once a week, I make a point of buying a pack of sardines and feed the Grey Herons of Hyde Park, London, GB! There're signs all over the place not to! But I ignore them! 😁

If it were early in the morning, then thanks for getting up at the crack of dawn for those of us, whose spirit is willing, but the flesh says \"Sod it!\" 😁

Location
It was our first morning in Kruger National Park, South Africa. We left the park just before sunrise and arrived at the Waterhole as the sun was rising. We made our way to the 'Hide' (near Skukuza) and watched the day unfold. There was an abundance of birdlife and a pod of Hippos in close attendance. The light was perfect - got several good shots that morning.Time

Just shooting wildly really, there were so many photo opportunities and as usual out of the many photos we took their were two gems. This was one.Equipment
Canon EoS Kiss - no tripod.Inspiration
We were in the park for about four days taking photos of as many species and environments as we could. The fact that this was the first morning was pretty special. A very warm and wonderful welcome to one of the most exciting environments on earth that one can explore on your own, all be it from the car. Have been there many times and never tire of the experience.Editing
Adobe Lightroom -In my camera bag
Camera, Tripod, numerous lenses and on this occasion as the animals are often in the distance we carried a 500mm Sigma lens which proved to be a great asset in this environment.Feedback
Sunrise and sunset are without doubt the best time to capture animals and bird in Kruger Park as the light is softer and the subjects are more active.
