So vivid and clean. The colors are right on. What kind of lens are you using on your d-7000?

Behind The Lens

Location

Took this photo at Rosetta McClain gardens in Scrborough a popular stopping off point for warblers and a great variety of birds

Time

Taken in the morning around 9:30 am

Lighting

was fortunate to get a unobstructed view and to get a bit of morning light on the bird as it came briefly

Equipment

Currently shooting with a Nikon D500 with a Tamarom 200-500 mm lens that just broke yesterday a new Nikon 200-500 lens on the way Update have ditched the Tamaron and now using a Nikon 200-500mm lens which is a true match for this camera.

Inspiration

I'm a outdoors guy and bird mostly alone esp during this covid 19 period and shooting birds is high on my lst as there are so many around and they are certainly challenging in some cases

Editing

The camera never seems to catch the same colors as the human eye sees so occasionally I will tweek the vibrance to mirror what I saw in the field

In my camera bag

a variety of lenes 18-135 mm a 55-300mm lens

Feedback

just have the patience and don't chase the birds look to where they are going to postion yourself close by and wait
