Location
The magic of this image will disappears as soon I reveal the location. No special gear was needed as it was taken in the Toronto's Ripley's Aquarium right underneath the gigantic cylindrical water tank.Time
I am sure it was in the afternoon, the exterior lighting is irrelevant to this image as the venue is enclosed with no exterior windows or skylights at this particular location.Lighting
The venue electrical lighting was located to simulate an underwater experience, however, it has enough light to shoot handheld with no issues.Equipment
A Canon 5D mkII with a 25mm F2 Zeiss lens.Inspiration
I loved the idea that it can produce the illusion that I was underwater to make this image. You can call it underwater photography on a budget.Editing
Simple black and white processing in Lightroom with minimal clarity adjustment. In my camera bag
Both my Canon 5D mkII with a 100-400 (Canon) and 85mm 1.4 lenses (Zeiss). I also use a Fuji X-100S with a wide lens adaptor for street photography.Feedback
Great images are around you, you just need to change your perspective to find it. Look up, down, sideways, crouch, lay down on the floor and you will find them and avoid use the camera on your stand up eye level.
