Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Qutab Minar in Delhi, India. Qutab Minar is the tallest brick minaret in the world. This was my first heritage place which I visited for taking some good shots on historical places. And Still learning with every new click..

Time

Its was early morning visit to Qutab Minar. I left my place around 6:30am to reach before the Sun gets hard and I started clicking around 7:30am. For this click, time was around 8am.

Lighting

Its was morning and the light was pretty good at the time. Everything had its own magical effect. This is one of my favorite photograph from that shoot.

Equipment

I use Canon EOS 700D and this shot was taken with 18-55 MM lens, Aperture: f/10, ISO: 100. There was no other equipment used for this click.

Inspiration

The frame and Minar's positioning. Off course the morning light and its magical effect on everything. So I was clicking tomb inside the room and as I turned right and saw the Minar covered by natural frame (walls). So instantly clicked this.

Editing

Well , yes a little bit with color and contrast.

In my camera bag

Well its all depends on the kind of shoot. Generally whenever I go for historical places so I definitely keep one wide angel and tripod. To cover people & portrait there I keep one zoon lense also in my kit.

Feedback

Well Historical places are always good to visit. You will find new perspective and ideas whenever you go. But best time where we can get good images is the Golden Hours. Also prefer to visit immediate after the rain. These three times has their own magical effect.
