Location
This photo was taken on the Czech-German border in Lužické hory.Time
I was there to taking some pictures for one of my clients. And because this place was new for me, I want to make some wander around before beginning of shooting. I love the sunrise, so I got up early, go to near rocks and I was waiting for sun there. After that I go back to our meeting point and I saw this scene.Lighting
Since the beginning of my shooting, I love chiaroscuro. And as years go I love the light more and more in all forms. But also (and this image is the same case) I'm... How to say it? :) I'm feel photographer. The scene must catch my eyes and heart somehow and I must to have the wow feeling and say to myself:"this is it!" And most of the time, the wow effect does light and some kind of haze or fog.Equipment
It was shoot on my old buddy Canon 5D MarkII with Canon EF 24-70mm/2.8 without the tripod.Inspiration
Nothing, just feeling and I just saw it :) I love nature and it is inspiration by itself.Editing
I did, but only in Lightroom with tweaked Fuji 400H ++ preset from VSCO. There is also one radial filter to highlight the sun and light and two graduated filters. One for darkening the right side and the other to add light and colour to the left side. And "hand made" vignetting with brush. In my camera bag
Canon 5D MarkII (now Mark III), Canon EF 24-70mm/2.8, Canon EF 70-200mm/2.8, Canon EF 17-40mm/4.0, tripod, remote trigger, 4 batteries, CF cards and the best photo equipment ever, Peak Design Capture Pro (on bag :) ).Feedback
Get up earlier then others (this is also the reason, why people likes images like this - they are lazy to get up and watching pictures is easier :) ), go to nature and keep your eyes open and turned on your camera. Sun is realy fast in the morning and the light conditions changes quickly, especially in forest. So if you have your camera in your bag, you can lose the scene and your image. But sometimes is good stay only and enjoy the sunrise and the awakening forest :)
