Hello Dan. I love this moon shot. The post production must have been interesting. I especially like the level of contrast that gives it so much "impact". I'm planning to shoot the moon this weekend for the eclipse. I have very little experience with it. What lens did you use to get your shot? Love to discuss it with you so I have a chance of getting a good one.

Hi Deb! Thank you! For this shot of the moon, I used my telescope at 750mm focal length. Because I used a camera with a small sensor, I couldn't get the entire moon into the frame, so I shot several regions of the moon, until I covered it all. Then stitched the frames into this final image!
