I was whole afternoon at Bled and waiting for the sunset. In one moment purple colours appeared in the sky and it was amazing contrast with blue and snowy mountains.Lighting
Weather conditions were pretty amazing at the moment I captured this photo so I need only to boost colours and add some contrast.Equipment
This shoot was taken with Canon 5D Mark II and Canon EF 16-35f2.8 L II lens. Also I've used Lee graduated filters to balance brightnes of the sky and reflection in the water.Inspiration
This place is pretty much inspiring itself. One of the best location in Slovenia if you want to have amazing photos.Editing
Because of the weather conditions and fact that I've used grad filters I didn't have to do much in post processing. I've only boost colours, add some contrast and lighten the shadows.In my camera bag
I have Canon bodies - 6D and 5D Mark II with Canon EF 16-35 f2.8 L II and Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS lenses which are great for landscape photography. Also I have Lee filters - Big stopper and set of graduated filters. Because my photos are quite often long exposures I have Manfrotto 190XPRO3 tripod with Manfrotto 327RC2 joystick head.Feedback
I you already find your "perfect location" go there more then once and I'm sure that you'll get shoot like this in few attempts.
