OH Dear, Someone hasn't had the time to go fishing for quite a while ... well seen and captured ... Cheers from Australia, Trish

Behind The Lens

Location

Our family had rented a cottage East of Toronto, Ontario and the grand-kids loved to fish. I got up early just as the mist was leaving the lake and saw that a spider had spun a web on the spool of my rod which was placed in one of the metal struts of the dock. It was magical to see the water droplets hanging off the spiders silk.

Time

It was early morning.

Lighting

Morning lighting

Equipment

I use Sony equipment and believe it was a Sony A55 using a 75-300 Minolta Lens

Inspiration

The sheer beauty of the elements.

Editing

Very little other than a little cropping.

In my camera bag

I carry to cameras. A Sony A6000 Mirror less withe to stock lenses and a Sony A 58

Feedback

To be aware of what is going on around us. I practice Contemplative Photography and use the camera to center myself and as a tool to help me stay mindful of what is around me.
