He is beautiful! We don't have any wild animals like wolves in New Zealand so it's great that you're sharing your images ????

Oh my goodness. What a stunning animal!! Pure wolf or wolf dog? Gorgeous either way. You’re a really talented photographer

Location
I actually took this photo in my backyard. He was our pet named Koa, he was part Timber/ Malamute wolf. I was glad to be able to capture this photo before he passed away in January of this year.Time
I took this picture of Koa in the afternoon on a very cold and snowy day. The temp was about 2 degrees Fahrenheit and about a foot and a half of snow on the ground.Lighting
No lighting equipment was used just natural lighting.Equipment
I used my Nikon 5100 camera nothing else was used.Inspiration
I always wanted a picture of Koa like he would be in his natural habitat area. With the temp and the snow the way it was that day it just seemed to be a perfect opportunity. I am so glad that I got out in the cold and snow to take this. With so many likes and awards with this picture, I am glad I am able to share it with so many people on Viewbug.Editing
There was very little processing done with this photo. I did a little saturation and that was it.In my camera bag
I am no professional just a hobby photographer kind of guy. So I usually have my camera and depending on what I plan on shooting just the lens on the camera. Nothing special.Feedback
No matter how hot, cold, windy, or raining get out there and make the best of it. The weather is unpredictable so is nature. You will never know what might be the next great picture in nature when you're outdoors. But if the weather keeps you inside you will never know what you missed. Get dressed properly protect your gear and get outside and start clicking away. Best of luck to you!
