Behind The Lens

Location

In norway, vestfold, in the woods and we were on a trip to take photos of what grows in the woods, we here on a path used for people that travel in the wood. arround 5 km from people living.

Time

Early in the morning around 9 a clock in the morning early summertime

Lighting

Got the ligning that was as a dream and able to use iso 500 to get the details shown

Equipment

Used my Nikon D800E with a Nikkor 105 mm 2.8 lens, on freehand

Inspiration

To show elegant details and placment already in place waiting to be captured, if the were any wind this placement is impossible. Showed my good friend the posibility i found and and he said it is a must have.

Editing

Use Lightroom to get the raw into a JPG crop the picture, used camera profile : used some smale adjusment to vibrance used some smale adjusment to no adjustment to the lighning needed.

In my camera bag

Bag Lowepro backpack with place to 2 camera houses. One Nikon D800E , Lences: Nikor 24-70 mm 2,8, Nikor 50 mm 1,8, ,Nikor 105 mm 2,8, Nikor 70-200 mm 2,8 lencepen, memorycards, spare battery. flash speedlight 910, Nikon GP-A1 GPS

Feedback

Try to capture with the object with a blown out background, check camera settings on appature and ISO, take some time get a placment and angle that shows the details you want to show, tip get low. Take a shot and look if you got details you wanted, Try to include more light wit a reflector or a flash placed off the camera if you need more light. Use RAW if possible to be able to adjust the detais in the best way, Take a copy of the orginal to be able to start again. Edit the picture in a program you know and try different ways to edit it, until it is as you want.
