Baby 700 is a hill which is 180 metres above sea level. It was the scene of furious fighting on the 25th of April 1915. It was occupied early in the morning by mixed parties of the allied forces. Throughout the day both sides attacked and eventually the ANZACs were forced back and driven off the hill.
