I so love this shot. You have hit the Bulls Eye on this one my dear. The lighting is perfect against your skin and through your hair and even on your lips. Not trying to be a pervert, but this is gorgeous.

Behind The Lens

Location

My home studio.

Time

Night time with all the lights off except the studio lights.

Lighting

I wanted it to look good and make me look good.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D5100 with a basic lens and studio lights.

Inspiration

I had an assignment to take self portraits for my photography class a couple years ago, so I took this one and many others.

Editing

I had the settings on manual, I am not sure if I shot in RAW or FINE, it was quite a while ago. I just made it black and white in photoshop and fixed some blemishes.

In my camera bag

I usually have my Nikon D7100 with all my lenses, which are too many to name, my flash, wireless and wired remote, extra battery, extra memory cards, lens filters, cords, manuals, covers, cloth, and my business cards.

Feedback

The only light you need is studio lighting. Turn as many lights in the house as you can. Just position the lights to make it look this way.
