Great shot and B/W is perfect. Looks like an old Harley or Indian.

Behind The Lens

Location
We love going to events that pay thanks to the Service Man & Woman who fought for our Country and Freedom and for those to made the Ultimate Sacrifice. Sadly the event where this was taken is no longer, which is a real shame we hope they can bring Rauceby War Weekend back in the near future.
Time
The photo was taken around 11:00am just before the crowds started to poor in and make take any photos al little tricky with people getting in the shot.
Lighting
It was taken in natural light the weather that day was very kind to us and with light clouds and blue skies it made it a great day for taking photos.
Equipment
The photo was taken with the Sony A6000 and the Sigma 19mm F2.8 lens, I really like this set up it is light and compact but very capable of producing high quality photos. I think the Sony A6000 deserves a lot of praise it rally is a powerful bit of kit even if you are just starting out or a professional photographer.
Inspiration
When I saw the the Harley Motor Bike sitting there with the Sun reflecting of it and how it was staged with the Army Tents behind it was begging me to take the shot it was one of those moments where all you had to do was point and shoot with no additional staging or props were needed. I think the Gas light hanging from the Tent at the back just adds to the shot and Black and White really gives it emotion.
Editing
There was only the smallest amount of editing done and the was to turn it into Black and White and cropped in a little.
In my camera bag
The equipment I carried on this day was light and all fitted into a small shoulder bag, Sony A6000, Sigma 19mm F2.8, Sigma 60mm F2.8 and the Sony 45-200mm the only reason I took the 45-200mm was because off a fly past by a Dakota and a Hurricane. I always take a few memory cards and cleaning cloths along with a carrier bag, if it rained all I had to do was put all the kit into the carrier bag and it would stay dry, cheap and effective.
Feedback
I am in no position to give advice as I am self taught, the only thing I could offer is to take the time to learn what your equipment is capable of. There is plenty of free resources out there especially on YouTube which I use a lot oh and learn how to understand light and what affect light has on your photos.
