This is definitely my kind of photo! I love the scene composition and I'm amazed at the level of detail in the clouds. I used to use the exact same camera model and could never quite capture this great of a shot! KUDOS!!

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture when I was on vacation in Key West Florida, Key West is an amazing place at Sunset to take great photos, if you look in some of my other photos I have on your website you will see some more Sunset pictures also.

Time

this is one of my favorite pictures I was walking down by Mallory Square at Sunset and noticed how beautiful the Sunset was and spotted this bird flying high into the Sunset and thought what an amazing photo opportunity and what it was ..it was around I would say 7 p.m. eastern time

Lighting

I wanted to capture the magical essence of the bird in the beautiful sunset this was amazing capture to say the least to me I hope everyone else that sees this is in awe like I was when I took this .It just gives off a magical peaceful feeling when I look at it... no lighting was used I do believe

Equipment

I used my Canon Power Shot SX 130 IS *Aperture: f/5 * ISO 80 *Shutter Speed 1/320 * the lens that it comes with

Inspiration

it was an amazing Sunset that evening and the bird was just flying there and I thought why not try and it just was an amazing capture I wasn't really sure I even got it, till I downloaded it to my computer when I got home and to my surprise it was really an amazing surprise

Editing

I do a little on my pictures, I don't have the knowledge that most of the people do here on Viewbug do to get the amazing pictures that they do, so I lighten and darken and straighten and sharpen, and maybe add a little color adjustment but nothing fancy as I dont know how to use photoshop and Lightroom so I use what I have on my computer.

In my camera bag

well I have 2 cameras I take with me a Canon Powershot SX130 and my Canon T5 starter kit Zoom lens EF 75-300 mm & 18-55mm is all I have in my bag with a polarizer lens to go on the T5 lenses

Feedback

well my advice would be to have patience, check out different places, wait for the moment, cross your fingers and just shoot the moment and if your first don't succeed try try again...I certainly have tried many of times before I got this great shot....
