Location
I took this shot of the Bald Eagle in Alaska.Time
This was taken in the early evening light.Lighting
The side lighting was a bit of a problem. Shadows were easaly corrected in lightroom.Equipment
This was taken with a nikon d4 with a 600 mm f4 lens.weInspiration
We were watching the eagles feed when we saw some people approaching. I knew the bird would flush so i raised my shutter speed and waited. Sure enough , it took flight right at me. Allowing a nice 12 shot burst.Editing
Shadows and contrast were adjusted in lightroom. In my camera bag
I normally have a d5 with 600mm on tripod with a d4s and 70 -200 around my neck.Feedback
Always watch whats going on with the birds surroundings. You can anticapate what the birds gonna do. Be patient !
