Location
This photo was taken in a barber shop in Stamford, Connecticut. I collaborated with a terrific makeup artist named Paula Ortega who coordinated the models, stylists and me. When I arrived at the shoot it was clear that I was surrounded by great talent, including Karen, featured here, and Sergio Mardones, the hair stylist. It all came together in this shot.Time

The purpose of the shoot was to highlight the makeup Paula uses. After the required shots we began to play with other looks, including this one. Karen looked terrific and I grabbed lots of great images of her.Editing
