Location

I took this photo in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, USA.

Time

It was mid afternoon in the late summer (August).

Lighting

The sky was clear and it was sunny outside.

Equipment

Just the camera and slow movements so as to not spook the chipmunk.

Inspiration

The chipmunks were very interested in all the hikers (trail mix...), so I figured I had to take advantage of the close proximity.

Editing

No post processing.

Canon 7d Mk-II, and a sigma 15-300mm

Find a place where the chipmunks are used to people. If random people happen to drop assorted nuts on the ground that will make your life a lot easier
