Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at Red Top Mountain State Park, Acworth, Georgia, while walking along the shoreline of Lake Allatoona.

Time

Evening

Lighting

It was overcast with a few rays of the setting sun shining through. Just enough to cast the reflection on the water.

Equipment

I used a Canon EOS Rebel T3, 75mm - 300mm.

Inspiration

The look and the shape of the stump captured my imagination and I just had to share!

Editing

No post-processing.

In my camera bag

Camera (of course) with 18 - 55 mm lens and 75 - 300 mm lens; UV and Polarized filters; lens hood, extra battery (when possible) as well as the battery charger, and rain sleeve.

Feedback

If you see something that sparks your imagination, take a walk around it, if possible, when you see what you think is the the shot you want, take it! Take several shots from different angles to vary your results. Never be afraid to take a chance and always let your imagination run wild! Have Fun and remember, The only critic you have to please is yourself!
