Behind The Lens

Location
At this point there were more pelicans. But I took the pelican, who combed his feathers and was apart from the rest.
Time
I do not remember the exact hour, but I guess it was a little after noon.
Lighting
White feathers of a pelican in combination with a dark background created a unique light contrast
Equipment
My Canon DSLR and telephoto lens, this shot is handheld (no tripod)
Inspiration
The pelican was an inspiration in itself
Editing
The need was only a few modifications so that excelled pelican and easy to see his reflection in the water
In my camera bag
I have my Canon DSLR, various lenses, and some other equipment for example for cleaning. I don't very often take with me tripod or exernal flash
Feedback
One step is to find interesting contrasts, such as white pelican and a dark background. The second step, but it is very significant, it is to be patient and wait for the right moment to pull the trigger
