I was staying in a hotel just a couple blocks from Times Square on a December day and I was up early. I hadn't adjusted to the three hour time difference from where I lived. It was about 6:00 in the morning. I wandered down and the temperature was 18 degrees. I found this guy just standing there by himself. There were millions of people around but this one man alone.
