Photo was taken on my last trip to Belgrade, Serbia ( after 5 years) July 2015. This restaurant is located in downtown Belgrade.Time
It was early afternoon, but it was soft light (shade)Lighting
Since this was a mid day in July I didn't use any special equipment, shadows were strong but it was nice shade and contrast.Equipment
I used Nikon D5100, Sigma 17-50mm 2.8, Tiffen 77mm Circular polarizer, tripod; (f/8, ISO100; 1/6) Amazon basics Wireless remoteInspiration
I used to live in Belgrade and this was my favorite restaurant. I haven't visited this place for a couple of years, it was renovated in the meantime. I really like new look, especially idea with red umbrellas.Editing
Yes, this is HDR processed in Photomatix (3RAW exposures),following with On1 Perfect Effects for color adjustments and Lightroom for fine tune up.In my camera bag
Not much. trying to take advantage to travel "light". Beside above mentioned also using Nikon 50mm f1.8 with ND filters.Feedback
Best advise I can give is that simple things can look great if there is something interesting in the frame when light is nice and soft and composition is right. Inspiration in photographers mind/eye is most important for nice capture.
