Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on a whim I casually drove over my mates house told him to shave half his face and took the shot.

Time

It was about lunch time we ordered pizza while we were doing the shoot.

Lighting

The lighting was natural lighting outside.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D5300 no tripod needed just handheld and shot away.

Inspiration

The inspiration comes from the fact that everyone can change nothing ever stays the same

Editing

I did a little bit of post processing in Adobe Photoshop CC and Lightroom. I also used Nik Collections Silver Efex Pro.

In my camera bag

At the time of this shoot I was only just getting into photography I didn't have much gear at all. I carried the Nikon D5300 dual lens kit and my MeFOTO roadtrip.

Feedback

My advice would be to have someone willing to shave half their face for you. I'm not sure how many people are willing to do that for a photo you just thought up.
