The photo was taken in Parma, Italy. It's actually one of my first serious urban portrait sessions.Time
It was sunset, as the colors and light clearly suggest.Lighting
I love back and rim light, I think they add a lot of depth to an image. Here I wanted to light the model's profile and her hair with the setting sun's light.Equipment
I used Nikon D800 as camera body, Nikon 85mm f/1.4 as camera lens and natural light.Inspiration

I try to carry everything so I won't run in "Damn I need that, and it's home" moments. Lately though, being my bag too heavy, I'm travelling light with just my D800, 85mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.4 and a speedlite flash. That's everything I actually need most of the time.Feedback
Golden hour is REALLY that magical, never underestimate its power because it can really make a picture stand out from the others.
