Location
This was taken on the bank of the USK River, Newport in South Wales.Time
Not sure what time but I assume it was early evening as we had spent a few hours snapping away at anything that moved, or didn't move, as in this case! My friend and I had a great time.Lighting
Natural golden hour lighting.Equipment
No fancy equipment on this trip, not even a tripod, as I could use the hand rails as a steadying instrument, just as well really as I do not have a steady grip. I took my : SONY DSC-HX300 Aperture: f/3.5 ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 1/1000 Focal Length: 1090/100Inspiration
The bridge is very beautiful with the lamp standards being based on ancient Greek tripods and the weight of each is 6 cwt (305 kg). I enjoy the design of this 1927 work of art.Editing
I confess to adding some Bokeh as texture in PP, as I wanted the attention to be on the lamp first and sky second. In my camera bag
Camera X 2 . full batteries... Lens hood and filters.Feedback
I am only an amateur photographer but I do try to learn something new every day. First camera was an old Box Brownie that my dad didn't want. I must have been around 8/10 years old. I would say to anyone : Do not give up. If you like the pictures you make, then just enjoy them!! after all, your memories will live on a long time after you have gone.
