This is the famous Peggy's Cove lighthouse in Nova Scotia Canada.Time
The picture was taken during at dawn, 05:28am with the sun rising in my back. The sun had not crested the horizon yet when I took the picture.Lighting
The capture was made with natural light, with the sun rising in my back as I took the picture. The picture was under exposed to capture the sky colors and details.Equipment

This is an iconic site in Canada and the lighthouse is one of the most photographedEditing
Due to the underexposed capture of this picture I've had to perform significant post-processing. The lower horizon, foreground and lighthouse were masked to increase the exposure, then the sky was masked to adjust exposure and color saturation. Vibrance and clarity were also adjusted with a touch of added sharpening, shadows and contrast for the blades of grass.In my camera bag

The early bird gets the worm. Early morning sunlight provides beautiful colors a great capture moments especially in high tourist areas. At any other time of the day it would be difficult to capture this iconic lighthouse without having people in the picture.
