I've always thought it strange how sunflowers bow down away from the right instead of bending toward the sun.

Hunting Shells

A box turtle in Arkansas. I waited 45 min for him to come out of his shell after seeing us. I liked the nearly B&W background and the red leaves.

Buzzing on Sunshine

In A Nutshell

I wanted this to make the viewer be able to feel the cool rush of saltwater over your feet on a beach walk.

Funnel spider web shot in B&W with a color emphasis in order to show water droplets on the web.

This GIANT shrimp literally jumped out of the waves and into my son's hands!

Emerging From the Darkness

I adjusted the color in order to catch the dreariness of the day while keeping the beauty of the rose itself.

I love the texture and colors of the rings of the bark on this tree.

I intended to leave this one soft. It is a miniature rose from my garden. It is only about 1 inch wide.
