I took this photograph on a walk to this local beauty spot, 'Roseberry Topping'. It was a beautiful day and the North Yorkshire Moors looked so perfect. I then used the photograph as inspiration for this watercolour painting.Time

To ALWAYS have your camera with you is a MUST and if possible a small sketch/note book. Sometimes it takes a whole day of looking then when you have decided 'it's not going to happen.....you go round a corner or over a hill and WOW there it is the very scene you have searched all day for.
