Location
I took this photo on my walk around the neighbourhood when I lived in Christchurch.
Time
Time of day would have been between 8-00am and 9-00am.
Lighting
I don't think there is any secret to the lighting.
Equipment
This was taken on a wing and a prayer, I didn't have my tripod with me so had to hold steady on an awkward angle to get photo.

Inspiration
I love the different varieties of fungus and find them very fascinating. I am always drawn in to see if I can get something on an unusual angle.
Editing
I have had to teach myself to use Photoshop so I sharpened the photo and played with the levels to enhance the colours and light effects. I now use GIMP to process photos so am trying to teach myself to use this program.
In my camera bag
I always carry a twin lens kit, a hot shoe flash (which I really must learn to use) a polarising filter and a set of macro rings.
Feedback
The only advice I have for others is to just keep trying, and try different angles to see if you can get something spectacular.
