Yes I had a big smile on my face when reviewing the images from the camera. Then in lightroom with the wealth of information from the 36 megapixels from the sony you have many options in editing.

I had my tripod with me but they wouldn't let me take it in. So I had to set the camera on a standing table on the top deck of Dodger Stadium, the lens was resting on a lip of the table and the body on a ice cream batting cap.Equipment
Sony a7r, Sony FE 24-70. No tripod aloud in stadium.Inspiration
I have been to Dodger Stadium many times but never on the 4th of July, and I quote the great Dodgers announcer Vin Scully " There is simply no more patriotic place to be on 4th of July, than right here at Dodger Stadium ". I wanted to capture that statement In a image that would bring you there with America's game.Editing
This is a composite of 6 images. The fireworks at Dodger Stadium are shot in the parking lot in right center field. I wanted to fill the black sky with fireworks so I used Photoshop to clone in other images of the fireworks. In my camera bag
One body and two lenses and a flash.Feedback
I had to adapt when told my tripod was not aloud in the stadium. If you have a shot in mind and a obstacle comes up, adapt overcome. I used 15-30 seconds exposure times and my 24-70 lens @ f22, I wanted everything to be in focus. The iso was set to 50 because I new the long exposures would bring in a lot of light. I had long exposure noise reduction off and used a 2 second shutter delay. Shooting in manual mode and manual focus.
