I just received my D810 and a new lens. It was time to take it out for a walk. The original came out beautifully but, I fell in love with HDR effect with this one. It was one of my first attempts messing around with HDR. I know many photographers are not fans of heavy usage of HDR effects. I hope you enjoy this photo as much as I do. I think this image along with my daughter in the distant background evoked an emotional feeling that's connected to nature and the details that we usually miss in this fast paced culture we live in. The depth of this shot seems to grab my attention and holds it for a moment everytime I look at it.
