Congrats on being the winner of my "Believe in Magic" challenge! I loved this shot! So creative, and very well done! To me it shows the strength of the mind and heart once you finally let go of something :) I love the ethereal feel of the photo and the magic that is all the pages floating down around the subject. Thanks for entering!

I took the photo in a forrest north of Copenhagen, In Danish it is called Nørreskov, one of my favorite spots, both shooting and beeing alone.Time
I took the photo at 14pm, In the Danish spring, more precisely in April.Lighting
The Dainish weather can be unpredictable, but this day was sunny, and at 14pm the sun was high, so we walked quite a bit to find this trail, where the sun did not penetrate the treetops, because I wanted a "muted" photo with few highlights, so shade was important to me, as I was only using natural light, which I prefer usingEquipment
I used my trusty Canon 6D and my 85 f/1.2, but at f/2.5, I took many shots, I did not use any flashes or tripods just a camera and a lens, the only thing one would ever need to make photo (not take but make) - and plenty of torn pagesInspiration
I were born in 76, before the time of googling for knowledge, now when in doubt google it... I wasnt a peticular smart kid, but I loved knowledge, still do. But back then I had to find and open books, the smell of opening a dusty tome of knowledge I missed it.... this photo is only one of my series of three, this photo I called Falling knowledge, it is open for interpretation and I love how different people see different things in this photo, the other I call burning knowledge, the last gaining knowledge, Falling knowledge is my favorite of the three, I actually planned only the "Burning knowledge" and "Gaining knowledge" photo, but this came to mind while I were in the forrest and a twig fell on my head while during shooting the others.. Like a Newton thing :) - Most of my unplanned shot are better than my planned shots and this is no exception !Editing
I did do some dodge and burning on my model and darkened some highligt spots in between the trees, and used some making layers to add some pages flying, masked in from the multiple other photos I took, but actually the editing was surprising minimal, because we took many photos and the flying pages was real!In my camera bag
I pretty much always have my 85mm f/1.2 (mk1), I love that lens and it is fantastic, it has many flaws but used correctly it produces magic, also I pack my 70-200 f/2.8 IS (mk1) would love the mk2 but cant afford it, still I love my mk1. A Canon 24-105 f/4 IS, seldom used though. also I pack my 6D and sometimes I pack my 5D mk2, I pack 2-3 YN560 III's flashes and YN603's triggers, however I rarely use them, I prefer natural light.Feedback
Keep it as real as possible, the pages the model threw in the air and walked, we repeated many times to get the shot, I wanted the shot as a photographer not an photoshop artist, allthough I am no purist as I aknowledge that photoshop is needed for the finished product, just as the old masters of photography also "manipulated" the photos, they just did it in a dark room.
