This photo is taken at Svalþúfa in the Snæfellsnes peninsula area in Iceland. The big cliffs over there are Lóndrangar and according to a folktale the poet Kolbeinn Joklaskald had an encounter with the Devil at these cliffsTime
This shot is taken in midnight in june last year (2015) in a midnight tour that i went with my friends Got an amazing sunset at this spot with crazy colors...Lighting
The light from dinnertime to breakfast is awesome in Iceland during summertime...endless spots to shot and the golden hours last 4-6 hours...can you belive that... like in this photo..this sunset lasted for 4 hours...Equipment
Canon 6D, Canon 16-35 f4 Is, lee filters to get the long exposure in the see and another one to take down the light in the sky Feisol tripod 3442 typeInspiration
This scene just screams at you to take a shoot...you just have to do it..and with all the birds in the nest on their eggs with this colors... You have to give it ago..Editing
Yes, this is just a single image... processd in Lightroom 5.7 and Color efex from NIK softwere...In my camera bag
My camera, Canon 6D, Canon 16-35 F4 IS, 70-200 f4, Samyang 14mm 2.8, 50mm 1.8, my lee filters, 5-6 extra batteris, 2-3 spare memorys card, remote control, and cleaning kit...dont need anything else to make a great trip :)Feedback
Be careful on any spot you visit...like in this one...don´t go at the end of the cliff...this is just a sandstone and can break off, Safety first, always. be patient, sometimes the light is not good...but just wait...it will get better :) Use filtes to get long exposures...and also for the sky. Dont be afraid to be creative with your image... and rule numer one... HAVE FUN AND SMILE... :)
