This is a place where many Christian believers were once killed standing for their faith and beliefs. Even today, we get discouraged because at this time all looks lost but in your most discouraging moments, and the time when you think it's not working, that it is all in vain. Today, as you enter the Roman Colosseum, a cross is there hanging over the Emperor's Gate reminding us that standing strong for our believes and faith is worth it even if it is for a future generation.
