This bird is taken as "concerned" in the United States, due to the fact that the population has become shortened and now only 400.000 of them are around the world. It's restricted to the Americas only. It migrates from Southamerica to Northamerica where it breeds, and comes back down to our southern countries. This photo was taken in Uruguay, near Punta del Este. I hope you may enjoy the info, and also take care of our birds. Thank you!
