I was driving through the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery when I noticed a doe laying in the shade . I stopped to take her photo when I noticed she had just given birth to two fawns. She started licking them clean. I sat there watching them for some time and was lucky enough to watch them struggle to stand up and take their first step. It was such a wonderful thing of nature in a place that is usually filled with sadness.
