Beautiful! How lucky to have these two drop in on you so you could capture their fun afternoon. (You must not have any cats around...ha ha).

Thanks for your thoughtful comment, it is much appreciated and yes, we were quite fortunate to have these two entertain us that whole afternoon. Thankfully our cats did not bother with them.

Great capture! These two little guys are so cute with their grumpy looks. My husband and I call robins "birds with attitude" because they frequently look so annoyed.

I just used my Canon T2i to take this shot.Inspiration
We call these our miracle birds. Because after spending the past 9 days in the hospital with my mother in-law as she slipped away to cancer. We came home on the 9th day exhausted and grieving the loss of such a lovely lady. We went into our backyard to find these two babies learning how to fly. My mother in-law would have loved the show these two cuties put on for us, as she had a yard filled with bird feeders and spent many hours enjoying the birds, squirrels and whatever other woodland creatures that found their way into her yard. My husband and I who were both so exhausted, but yet welcomed the distraction of these two little robins, it was almost as though my mother in-law had sent them to us, to give us a bit of joy that day.Editing
I did do a little enhancing with Lightroom 2, nothing major, just a tweak here and a tweak there. In my camera bag
I typically carry my Canon T2i, T3i and a Canon Powershot (waterproof camera), a Canon Speedlite Flash and my Canon EFS 10-18mm, 55-250mm and a 18-55mm lenses. I also try to have 3 extra charged batteries for the cameras, spare batteries for the flash, water spray bottle, and cleaning clothes for the lenses.Feedback
My advice is just to always enjoy your surroundings, because there is always something of beauty or interest to be captured.
